Northland Ultraseal Bio Med cell filters are designed to meet the needs of semi-critical filtration requirements that cause damage or create health hazards in manufacturing processes but HEPA filtration cannot be utilized. BioMed filters have roughly half the air flow resistance of a HEPA filter with an efficiency of 99.97% @ 0.3 µm particles. Only materials that meet our stringent quality standards are utilized. All manufacturing steps are closely monitored to insure that every filter will perform as expected. Ultraseal Bio Med filters are available in a variety of framing materials, galvanized steel, aluminum, stainless steel, and particleboard. Frame types include DTF (double turned flange), single and double-header, box, groove seal, reverse groove seal, and C-style in metal. In wood, frame styles include box, groove seal, single and double-header. Three flow rates are available to meet varying fan capacities, Standard, Low Resistance, and High Capacity Ultraseal Bio Med filters are constructed to perform at temperatures up to 220°F (104°C), and at 100% relative humidity. High temperature Ultraseal Bio Med filters are available to operate continuously at temperatures up to 500°F (260°C). |
